Anthony Davis will miss at least four weeks due to an adductor strain, sources told Shams Charania and Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
The Mavs are optimistic that Davis can avoid surgery.
The team also announced that Daniel Gafford is expected to miss at least six weeks with a MCL sprain.
The team is already without Dereck Lively II and Dwight Powell.
