The Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks continue to discuss a De’Andre Hunter trade. Both teams are attempting to create a trade structure that allows both teams to stay under the luxury tax.
Hunter is averaging 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.7 minutes across 37 games with the Hawks. Hunter has a PER of 15.7, which is a career high mark with his three-point percentage hitting 39.3 percent on 6.7 attempts per game. Hunter makes $21.6 million this year and is set to make $23.3 million and $24.9 million the following two seasons.
One iteration of this trade has had Caris LeVert returning to the Hawks as part of the trade.
