Scottie Barnes will miss several weeks with a right ankle injury he suffered in Monday’s loss by the Toronto Raptors against the New York Knicks. Barnes previously missed time this season with a fractured orbital bone.
Barnes is averaging career highs of 20.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists this season.
Barnes and the Raptors agreed to a five-year max extension this past offseason worth up to $270 million if he makes an All-NBA team, which he won’t play in enough games to qualify for voting eligibility.
