Everything you need for Round 7 of Dunkest NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position:
Guards
De’Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings, 15.5 cr)
Despite his season-low performance in the previous matchup, even with overtime, we’re betting on Fox against the Toronto Raptors, who have the second-worst defense in the league. The speed of the Kings’ point guard could tear apart the Canadian team’s defense, as they allow 54 points per game in the paint (the fifth-worst figure in the league).
Jalen Suggs (Orlando Magic, 10 cr)
The Orlando Magic point guard has stood out in his career mainly for his defensive skills, but he is called to provide more offensive support due to Paolo Banchero’s absence. The matchup against the lackluster defense of the Indiana Pacers could be the perfect opportunity to boost his stats and, consequently, his Dunkest points.
Forwards
Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs, 19.2 cr)
A slow start for the French phenom of the San Antonio Spurs, but in the last game, he shone again with a 50 PDK performance, thanks in part to 9 blocks recorded. The game against Houston could inspire Wemby, who in the first matchup of the season matched his career high in rebounds with an impressive 20 boards grabbed!
Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans, 13.8 cr)
The matchup against the undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers looks tough, but Ingram will be called upon to lead the Pelicans’ offense given the confirmed absences of Dejounte Murray and CJ McCollum, as well as doubts about Zion Williamson’s availability. The former Lakers player is averaging over 28 points in the last 3 games, and he’ll need to tap into his entire offensive repertoire to keep New Orleans in the game against Mitchell and company.
Center
Jarrett Allen (Cleveland Cavaliers, 15.7 cr)
The strong start to the season for the Ohio franchise, still undefeated after 8 games, is also due to the solidity of their center, who has recorded 5 double-doubles. Allen can dominate against the weak frontline of the Pelicans, made up only of rookie Missi and veteran Daniel Theis.
Walker Kessler (Utah Jazz, 11.1 cr)
The big man of the Utah Jazz still has an affordable price, but in these early games, he has already registered a profit of 1.6 cr, and he has no intention of stopping, as shown by the last two games where he nearly reached 40 Dunkest points. The matchup against the uncertain Bucks at the start of the season isn’t too tough and could secure yet another double-double.
Coach
Rick Carlisle (Indiana Pacers, 7.9 cr)
Coach Carlisle’s Indiana Pacers are coming off a prestigious win on the road against the Dallas Mavericks, NBA finalists last season, and in this Game 7, they host the Orlando Magic, who are without Paolo Banchero. The Florida team, missing their star, has yet to win a game and “boasts” a 5-game losing streak.
