Amazon has hired Stan Van Gunde to be a game analyst as they acquire media rights to the NBA. Van Gundy will join Ian Eagle, who has been designed as its No. 1 play-by-play announcer.
Amazon has also shown interest in Richard Jefferson who is now part of ESPN’s No. 1 crew with Mike Green and Doris Burke.
Dwyane Wade and Steve Nash are also candidates for analyst roles with Amazon.
Taylor Rooks, Dirk Nowitzki and Blake Griffin will be part of Amazon’s pregame and postgame shows.
