The Los Angeles Lakers have lost four in a row since their eight-game win streak. Injuries have played a major part for the Lakers, but things should be turning a corner there soon.
Before the Lakers loss at the Denver Nuggets on Friday, head coach JJ Redick said reinforcements are on the way. Redick said LeBron James, Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes are “all very close to returning”. The assumption is that three starters could all be back within the next week.
James has missed the last three games due to a groin strain. The Lakers star was injured in the second half of the Lakers loss to the Boston Celtics last Saturday.
Hachimura has been out since late-February. He came up with knee soreness in a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on February 27.
Hayes has missed four games in a row. The Lakers center went down hard and bruised a knee in a win over the New York Knicks on March 6.
