Lonzo Ball, Bulls Agree To Two-Year, M Extension

Lonzo Ball and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract extension. The Bulls received trade interest in Ball, but he reached agreement on a new deal that will run through the 26-27 season.

Ball is averaging 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 21.3 minutes after missing the entire 22-23 and 23-24 season with multiple surgeries following his torn meniscus in January 2022.

Ball first joined the Bulls in 2021 from the New Orleans Pelicans on a four-year, $85 million sign-and-trade. The Bulls were one of the leaders in the Eastern Conference during Ball’s first season with the team until his injury midway through the season.
