The Dallas Mavericks have acquired Caleb Martin from the Philadelphia 76ers for Quentin Grimes and a 2025 second round pick. The second round pick originally belonged to the Sixers, so they acquire it back from the Mavericks as part of the trade.
Martin signed a four-year, $28 million deal with the Sixers during the 2024 offseason after leaving the Miami Heat. Martin is averaging 9.1 points on 37.9 percent three-point shooting this season for the Sixers in 31 games.
Grimes became expendable for the Mavericks after they acquired Max Christie from the Los Angeles Lakers as part of the Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis trade.
