The Brooklyn Nets are the only team projected to have maximum cap space this summer. Despite that, the Nets don’t have plans to spend that cap space on a superstar acquisition during the 2025 offseason.
Brooklyn has been mentioned as a possible suitor for Jimmy Butler in free agency. However, the Nets have no plans to pursue Butler this summer.
In addition, Brooklyn isn’t locked in the idea of using their cap space to trade for a star player either. The Nets are focused on continuing to build up their assets for future moves.
