Everything you need for Round 14 of Dunkest NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position:
Guards
Josh Hart (New York Knicks, 14.1 cr)
Despite the struggles during preseason, once the NBA season began, things have fallen back into place. With an average of 33.56 PDK, the matchup against the Jazz β the worst defense against guards β looks like the perfect opportunity to approach 40 PDK.
Jaden Ivey (Detroit Pistons, 9.6 cr)
With Cade Cunningham most likely out due to a hip issue, it will be up to Jaden to step up. He hasnβt played without his teammate so far this season, but last yearβs numbers suggest he could make a significant impact. Use our with/without stats tool to explore the details β itβs definitely worth it.
Luke Kennard (Memphis Grizzlies, 6.9 crediti)
The former Clippers shooting guard is one of coach Jenkinsβ key players in the rotation. Kennard is highly effective during certain phases of the game and can rack up solid scores against mediocre defenses. In this regard, todayβs matchup against the Bulls could be a great opportunity for him.
Forwards
Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic, 14.0 cr)
Against the Lakers, he proved to be a game-changer, at times unstoppable. Following Bancheroβs injury, he has definitely raised his level of play. Detroit doesnβt have an exceptional defense, and the German will surely give them a tough time.
Jalen Johnson (Atlanta Hawks, 13.5 cr)
The fourth-year forward with the Hawks is playing like a true star. He alternates double-doubles with performances over 20 points. Recommended for T3 against the Mavericks in the second game of a back-to-back. The matchup is intriguing.
Chris Boucher (Toronto Raptors, 6.7 crediti)
Speaking of disappointing teams, in a Toronto struggling to bounce back, the presence of the experienced Boucher hasnβt yet fully emerged. After years of learning behind Siakam, Chris has found it difficult to become one of the key figures for the Canadian franchise. However, the promising signs heβs shown in recent games make him an interesting asset, even in the tough matchup against Cleveland.
Center
Alperen Sengun (Houston Rockets, 16.9 cr)
Itβs becoming a surprise not to see him with a double-double. Forget the bad news against Portland: the Blazers will probably still be without Ayton. So, itβs clear sailing for the 22-year-old, who wonβt show mercy to Clingan.
Isaiah Hartenstein (Oklahoma City Thunder, 10.1 cr)
A noteworthy debut upon returning from injury for the former Knicks center. The Thunder waited until he reached excellent form before putting him on the court, and it paid off: 13+14 and a big farewell to Portland. The next opponent will be Sabonis (last season saw two 30-point performances), and weβre sure that even against Arvydasβ son, he wonβt back down.
Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers, 4.3 crediti)
The experienced center of the Cavaliers takes us straight back to the historic 2016 NBA Finals. Despite the passage of time, Thompson remains the last link between the Cleveland that was and the Cleveland that is destined to be. Staying in the present, the good Tristan showed in the last game that he still has some shots left to take. In case of garbage time against Toronto, Thompson could become a very interesting option for this game.
Coach
Tom Thibodeau (New York Knicks, 9.9 cr)
The Manhattan franchise is enjoying a great run. Thibodeauβs team comes off four consecutive wins, the latest being a home victory against the Suns. Now, they face a T1 challenge in Salt Lake City against the Jazz, who are far from the favorites. Itβs still early to put an end to this positive streak.
Rick Carlisle (Indiana Pacers, 6.7 cr)
There were perhaps expectations for a few more wins from the Pacers, but the Regular Season is still long. Haliburton and his teammates have disappointed on more than one occasion, but Sunday night will be different. They will host the Wizards, and the victory seems well within their reach.
