Russell Westbrook put up his first triple-double with the Denver Nuggets in the team’s victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. It was a milestone for Westbrook, as he became the first player in NBA history to record 200 career triple-doubles.
Westbrook has averaged a triple-double in three different seasons in his career. He pulled off the feat twice with the Oklahoma City Thunder, including during his MVP season in 2016-17. Westbrook then averaged a triple-double in his lone season with the Washington Wizards in 2020-21.
