Atlanta’s offense is rolling, after two straight late come-from-behind victories over divisional opponents at home. Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 42 of 58 passes for a career high 509 yards and four touchdowns in the team’s win over Tampa Bay in Week 5. Wide receiver Drake London was practically unguardable, catching 12 passes for 154 yards and a score in the thrilling win. Fellow wideout Darnell Mooney caught nine passes for 105 yards and two scores, despite dropping a crucial pass late in regulation.
If the Falcons are to further succeed long term, they need to rely on running back Bijan Robinson more. The second-year pro has been a disappointment thus far, rushing for only 285 yards and generating 151 yards through the air, while scoring only once.
