Devin Vassell Out Until At Least November Recovering From Foot Surgery

Devin Vassell is participating in non-contact basketball activities and is expected to miss the start of the 2024-25 season. Vassell’s status will be updated by the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 1.

After playing 68 games last year, Vassell missed the final eight games of the regular season before undergoing surgery for a stress reaction of the third metatarsal head in his right foot. Vassell averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.1 minutes last season.

Vassell is entering Year 1 of his five-year, $146 million extension with the Spurs.
