Why the Texans can cover

Texans wide receiver Nico Collins is the No. 1 weapon in Houston after he had a dominant performance in 2023. He was able to build a strong rapport with quarterback CJ Stroud and will attack coverages from all three levels. Last year, the Michigan product had 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns. Last week, he caught six passes for a team-high 117 yards.

In the offseason, the Texans traded for receiver Stefon Diggs, another alpha in the room with a knack for getting open. The six-time Pro Bowler has racked up 816 receptions for 10,028 receiving yards and 69 touchdowns. He has six straight seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards. Last week, Diggs logged six catches for 33 yards, and two touchdowns. See who to back at SportsLine.

Why the Bears can cover

The Bears have a nice collection of playmakers on the offensive end. One of the best pass catchers is receiver D.J. Moore, who has great explosiveness that allows him to be a dangerous weapon after the catch with secure hands to reel in any pass. This offseason, he signed a four-year, $110 million extension. In his career, Moore has notched 465 receptions for 6,601 receiving yards, and 29 touchdowns.

Chicago also added running D’Andre Swift to the fold this offseason. Swift runs with great vision and also provides the team with a solid pass catcher coming out of the backfield. The Georgia product has logged 2,759 rushing yards, 195 receptions, 1,412 receiving yards, and 31 total touchdowns in his career. He finished with at least 50 rushing yards in 11 games during the 2023 season. See who to back at SportsLine.
