The NBA schedule for the 2024-25 season has been officially released, and the games for NBA Opening Night and NBA Christmas Day have been revealed. As always, the spectacle is guaranteed.

NBA Opening Night Games

The NBA regular season will begin on Tuesday, October 22, with two games broadcast on TNT. The reigning champions, the Boston Celtics, will receive their rings and unveil the banner for their 18th title before facing the New York Knicks.

In the second game, the Minnesota Timberwolves, coming off a historic season, will take on the Los Angeles Lakers, with LeBron James beginning his 22nd NBA season, tying the record for the most seasons played.

The second game will also be a new addition to the NBA Christmas schedule: the Minnesota Timberwolves, coming off last season’s Western Conference Finals, will face Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks in Texas.

Next, the Boston Celtics will host the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. The day will conclude with a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets in Arizona.
