The WNBA is set to receive $2.2 billion over 11 years in its next media rights package deal, reported Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic.
The league will receive an average of at least $200 million per season, with an opportunity to earn more should it bring in additional partners.
The WNBA’s current media rights deal, worth $50 million per year, is set to expire in 2025. Similar to the NBA, the WNBA’s national media package is with Disney, NBC, and Amazon.Β
