Chris Paul and the San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a one-year deal worth $11 million.
In 58 games last season with the Golden State Warriors, Paul averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 26.4 minutes. Paul and the Warriors agreed to move back his $30 million guarantee date to June 30th as they pursued a trade for Paul George that did not ultimately materialize. Paul is represented by Steven Heumann and Ty Sullivan.
The Spurs had a big need at the point guard position during Victor Wembanyama’s rookie season and heading into the offseason that Paul will help fill as a veteran stopgap.
