Rich Paul Telling Teams Bronny James Will Play In Australia If Selected

Rich Pau is reportedly telling teams potentially interested in selecting Bronny James that his client will play in Australia next season if they pick him, according to ESPN’s Bob Myers. At the top of the telecast, Myers said he recently spoke with Paul and that he would reveal their strategy as the second round progressed. Paul previously went on record indicating that he would not consider a two-way contract for Bronny.

“Right now, Rich Paul is calling teams. ‘Don’t take Bronny James.’ He’s telling them ‘Do not take him. If you take him, he’s going to Australia,'” said Myers.

Bronny is widely expected to be taken by the Los Angeles Lakers at No. 55 if he remains available.ย

Bronny averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes over 25 games as a freshman at USC.

“There’s an effort to make sure that happens,” said Myers of Paul’s efforts to get Bronny to the Lakers.
