Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat have agreed to a three-year, $166 million maximum extension. The contract will take Adebayo through the 28-29 season. Adebayo could previously become a free agent in 2026. Adebayo previously had $72 million over the next two seasons remaining on his five-year, $163 million extension signed in 2020.
Adebayo is coming off two straight All-Star seasons, averaging 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 34.0 minutes over 71 games in 23-24.
