Knicks Acquire Mikal Bridges From Nets For Five First Round Picks, Pick Swap

The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-rounder.

The Knicks are sending unprotected picks in 2025, 2027, 2029 and 2031, plus a protected 2025 first via the Milwaukee Bucks, a 2028 unprotected pick swap, and a second round pick in 2025 for Bridges and a 2026 second round pick.

Bridges joins several former Villanova teammates in Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo.

Bridges approached the Nets about a trade to the Knicks earlier this week and a deal came together quickly.

Bridges has two seasons remaining on his current contract at $23.3 million and $24.9 million. Bridges can sign a three-year, $113 million extension with the Knicks in six months, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks.Β
