Why the Bills can cover

Stefon Diggs has been one of the top receivers in the league once again this season. The former All-Pro wideout ranks second in the NFL in receptions (55) and receiving touchdowns (six). After his 100-yard receiving performance in Week 6, he became just the fifth player in the Super Bowl era with five 100-yard receiving games through his team’s first six games of a season.

In addition, Buffalo faces a Tampa Bay team that has struggled recently. Since starting the season 2-0, the Buccaneers have lost three of their last four, including the last two. They’ve gone from averaging 23.5 points a game to 14.0. See which team to pick here.

Why the Buccaneers can cover

Tampa Bay faces a Buffalo defense that has been ravaged by injuries at all three levels this season. Lineman DaQuan Jones (pectoral muscle), linebacker Matt Milano (leg) and cornerback Tre’Davious White (Achilles) are all likely out for the season. Without those three last Sunday, the defense allowed a struggling New England offense to set season-highs in points (29), yards per play (6.6) and passing yards per attempt (8.9).

In addition, the Buccaneers have done an excellent job of forcing turnovers. The defense has generated seven takeaways, which ranks second in the league behind only the 49ers (eight). Last week against the Falcons, Tampa Bay forced three turnovers. See which team to pick here.
