The Denver Nuggets have exercised their 2024-25 rookie scale team option for forward Peyton Watson. This is the third-year option for Watson, who was drafted in 2022.
Watson didn’t play much as a rookie, but the Nuggets believe he’ll factor into their rotation in his second season. The 6-foot-8 wing is expected to help replace some of what Denver lost with Bruce Brown leaving for the Indiana Pacers in free agency.
