The fifth-round rookie scored the first touchdown of the preseason in a 21-16 loss to the Browns in the Hall of Fame Game. He started the game and played nearly a quarter and a half, rushing nine times for 27 yards and a score.
The Jets also got him involved in the passing game, hauling in his only target for five yards. Abanikanda racked up nearly 1,500 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns during his final college season at Pittsburgh. His experience in the Hall of Fame Game is an additional reason to include him in NFL DFS lineups on Saturday.
Kaylor’s NFL DFS strategy for Saturday also includes rostering Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn.
