According to Shams Charania, a well-known insider for The Athletic, it will take another 2-3 weeks to recover Zion, almost up to the play-in and playoffs.

The main issue at hand is NOLA’s access to the postseason, with a record of 35 wins and 37 losses, currently placing them 12th in the Western Conference, with a tough schedule ahead (Warriors, Nuggets, Clippers, Kings, Knicks, and Grizzlies in the last 10 games).

Realistically, without Williamson, the New Orleans franchise has very little chance of making it: a real shame given the enormous potential of coach Willie Green’s group.
