The Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder are the No. 10 and No. 11 seeds in the Western Conference, making Friday’s game a crucial one for both teams.
This is the third meeting between the squads, and the Thunder, who are the second night of a back-to-back, could sit some players.
That could change things in the prop market, so I’m focusing on two Lakers for my picks on Friday, as well as a Shai Gilgeous-Alexander prop, if he plays.
Let’s break the down:
Thunder vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets
- Anthony Davis OVER 26.5 Points
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 0.5 3-Pointers Made
- Austin Reaves OVER 18.5 Points

Anthony Davis has cleared 26.5 points in seven of his last 11 games, and he’s taking on an OKC team that struggles to rebound and defend the paint.
The Thunder lack size down low to handle Davis, and they are just 26th in the league in rebounding percentage. The big man should have his way in the paint, especially on the offensive glass.
OKC allows over 50 points in the paint per game, and Lakers head coach Darvin Ham admitted after the team’s win over the Phoenix Suns that Davis could be involved even more. I expect to see that on Friday.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 0.5 3-Pointers Made

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander doesn’t take a lot of shots from 3-point range, but when he does, he makes them.
SGA has hit a 3 in four of his last five games and six straight when he’s actually attempted a shot from deep.
The volume is shaky with this prop, but it is usually priced around -150 or -160. At -130, there’s value since the Lakers and Thunder are both top three in the league in pace, meaning there will be plenty of possessions for Gilgeous-Alexander to get up a shot from deep.
Austin Reaves OVER 18.5 Points
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers

This is a bit of a loyalty play, as Austin Reaves’ hot scoring as of late has cashed a few props for yours truly.
However, with a fast pace expected, Reaves could be in line for another big game after scoring 60 points in his last two matchups.
The key for Reaves lately has been getting to the line, as he’s attempted 53 free throws over his last four games. If he can see that kind of volume at the stripe tonight, a 19-plus point game is certainly within reach.
