The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers face off on Friday night in what should be a terrific game between two teams with NBA title hopes.
Philly has listed both Joel Embiid and James Harden as questionable for this game, so the prop market for the Sixers is rather barren. However, there are two props for the Warriors that I love, and one first quarter play as well.
Let’s dive into the picks for this matchup, which is in primetime on NBATV on Friday night:
Sixers vs. Warriors best NBA prop bets
- Draymond Green OVER 13.5 Assists and Rebounds
- First Quarter Total OVER 60.5 Points
- Donte DiVincenzo OVER 3.5 Rebounds
Draymond Green OVER 13.5 Assists and Rebounds
Draymond Green has some value on his assist and rebounds prop with the number being set at 13.5 on Friday.
On the season, Green is averaging 7.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game (14.1), and he should be able to put up big numbers on the glass against a Sixers team that is just 19th in the league in rebounding percentage.
If Embiid sits, Philly lacks any size behind him to dominate Golden State on the glass. While Draymond has fallen short of this line in a few games as of late, he is set up for a bounce-back showing on Friday given the depth concerns for Philadelphia.
First Quarter Total OVER 60.5 Points
This may be my favorite play in this game, as Golden State and Philly are seventh and eight in the league in first quarter scoring this season.
They combine to average 59.7 points per first quarter this season, and the Sixers are No. 1 in the NBA in offensive rating in the first quarter on the road.
Golden State is a top offensive unit in the first quarter at home as well, and the Warriors lead the NBA in pace this season.
I expect some fireworks early on offense at Chase Center.
Donte DiVincenzo OVER 3.5 Rebounds
Donte DiVincenzo is one of the better rebounding guards in the NBA, and he has some value on his prop on Friday against the Sixers.
As I mentioned, Philly is just 19th in rebounding percentage, and DiVincenzo is averaging 4.4 boards per game this season.
While he’s finished with exactly three rebounds in three of his last four games, he’s still cleared 3.5 boards in five of his last 10. I’ll take a shot on him to get his season average on the glass tonight.
