Today’s NFL rumors surround more drama with the Jets and Packers, Russell Wilson going under the knife, and JuJu Smith-Schuster enjoying life in New England.

The β€œOffseason of Rodgers” has turned into the β€œOffseason of whether the Jets and Packers will ever agree to a trade,” and fans are growing tired of waiting.

It’s been days, weeks, and months since the Aaron Rodgers drama began, and there’s no light at the end of this tunnel right now. Much like Rodgers’ darkness retreat, fans, pundits, and the rest of the league have been left in the dark.

Could it be time for the Jets to actually do something? One NFL pundit thinks the franchise needs to man up (ala Josh Gad in Book of Mormon) and start issuing some ultimatums.

Other rumblings around the league concern Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, who went under the knife and looks to make a comeback in 2023, and new Patriots wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster, who can add one more talented head coach and mentor to his resume.

Let’s take a look at the three biggest NFL rumors right now.

NFL Rumors: Denver QB Russell Wilson on track to make a full recovery from surgery

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson apparently had to undergo surgery on his right knee after the 2022 season, but good news for his fans: he’s going to be okay.

According to NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Wilson has resumed working out and β€œshould be fine for OTAs.” That gives him plenty of time to rehab and recover in time for the start of the 2023 season, at which point Wilson should be at full health.

Broncos Country will hope the surgery also magically caused Wilson to return to his prime Super Bowl-contending form and stop saying ridiculous corny phrases.

If anything, Wilson no longer has an excuse for his poor performances and will be expected to lead a much superior passing attack this season with the help of Sean Payton, a reformed O-line, and other players returning from injury like star back Javonte Williams.

Assuming Jerry Jeudy stays in Denver, Wilson will have one of the strongest receiving corps in the league, and all eyes will be on him as he enters the second season on his new team.
