Wednesday’s NBA slate has 10 different games, and I have four plays to make on the action tonight.
There’s something for everyone in my NBA best bets, including a spread pick, total, player prop and a parlay. After a 1-1-1 showing on Tuesday, let’s get things back on track on March 22:
NBA best bets record to date
NBA best bets today
- Golden State Warriors-Dallas Mavericks OVER 235.5 (-110)
- Nikola Vucevic OVER 27.5 Points and Rebounds (-105)
- New York Knicks-Miami Heat Same Game Parlay (+110)
- Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5 (-110) vs. Atlanta Hawks
Golden State Warriors-Dallas Mavericks OVER 235.5 (-110)
This season, the OVER is 25-10-1 when the Golden State Warriors are on the road, and I think this could be a high-scoring game with Luka Doncic listed as probable for the Dallas Mavericks.
The last time these teams played, prior to the Kyrie Irving deal and with Doncic out, they combined for 232 points.
Golden State is one of the fastest paced teams in the NBA, and neither of these teams defend well. The Warriors are 28th in the league in defensive rating on the road and the Mavericks are 23rd overall in DRTG.
This has “track meet” written all over it.
Nikola Vucevic OVER 27.5 Points and Rebounds (-105)
I think we’re getting some serious value on this prop for Nikola Vucevic, who has flat out dominated the Philadelphia 76ers this season.
In three games against Philly, Vucevic has easily cleared this line in each, averaging 21 points and nearly 17 rebounds per game:
- Game 1 vs. Sixers (Oct. 29): 23 points, 19 rebounds
- Game 2 vs. Sixers (Jan. 6): 19 points, 18 rebounds
- Game 3 vs. Sixers (Monday): 21 points, 12 rebounds
Vuc has also cleared this line in five of his last six games, so it isn’t just a Philly thing. He should go OVER on Wednesday.
New York Knicks-Miami Heat Same Game Parlay (+110)
- Julius Randle 20+ Points (-450)
- Jimmy Butler 20+ Points (-390)
- Immanuel Quickley 10+ Points (-310)
A little parlay for the New York Knicks-Miami Heat round 3? Why not!
Julius Randle: Randle has scored 23 and 43 points in his two games against Miami this season, averaging 25.6 points per game this season. He’s also picked up at least 20 in 12 of his last 14 games.
Jimmy Butler: The Heat star scored 33 against New York in their last meeting, and he’s been hot, scoring 20+ points in eight straight and 12 of his last 14 games.
Immanuel Quickley: I love this pick for IQ, who has scored in double figures in 17 of his last 18 games. The Sixth Man of the Year candidate should see plenty of chances to score on Wednesday.
Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5 (-110) vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Minnesota Timberwolves could have both Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards back in the lineup on Wednesday night against an Atlanta Hawks team that played the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
The Hawks are just 3-6-1 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back this season, and I think the Wolves are a little undervalued with Towns looking primed to return after a 51-game absence.
The Wolves are coming off an impressive road win against the New York Knicks on Monday, and I like them to win what should be a high-scoring affair tonight.
