Magic vs. Lakers prediction and odds for Sunday, March 19 (Orlando undervalued)

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost back-to-back games, falling to the No. 11 seed in the Western Conference and outside of the play-in tournament picture.

After losing to the Dallas Mavericks on Maxi Kleber’s game-winning 3-pointer, it’s hard to trust the Lakers laying 6.5 points at home against the Orlando Magic on Sunday.

However, the Magic have struggled on the road this season, going 13-23 straight up.

Orlando lost its last road game against the Phoenix Suns by three points, 116-113.

How should we bet on this matchup?

Magic vs. Lakers prediction and pick

Anthony Davis is expected to play in this game, while LeBron James remains out of the lineup, and I think that gives some value on Orlando in this game.

While the Magic haven’t won games on the road at a high rate, the team is 19-13-1 against the spread as road dogs, losing those games by an average margin of just four points per game.

The Lakers showed on Friday night that their late-game execution can struggle without James, and Orlando has the size to at least make things tough on Davis down low.

The Lakers are just 7-9 ATS as home favorites, and asking them to win this game by seven or more is a lot considering that they’ve lost to Houston and Dallas (without Luka Doncic) in their last two games.

Take the points with Orlando tonight.
