Suns vs. Warriors prediction and odds for Monday, March 13 (Warriors too dominant at home)

The Golden State Warriors continue to have one of the more mesmerizing seasons in the NBA, winning at will at home but struggling to do anything on the road.

Golden State is 28-7 at Chase Center this season and just 7-26 away from it, but it is at home on Monday against the now Kevin Durant-less Phoenix Suns.

KD is out with an ankle injury he sustained in warm ups before last week’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and oddsmakers have set Golden State as a favorite in this game as a result.

The Warriors pulled off a major comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, thanks to a huge fourth quarter and overtime from Stephen Curry.

Can he lead the team to another win tonight?

Suns vs. Warriors odds, spread and total

Suns vs. Warriors prediction and pick

Golden State has gone 18-11-1 against the spread as a home favorite this season, and the team takes things to another level when it is at Chase Center.

The Warriors rank sixth in net rating and third in defensive rating when they are at home, but they are just 14th in both categories overall this season.

Still, for this game, they’re going to have an advantage.

Andrew Wiggins (personal) is still out for Golden State, but the loss of Durant makes things a lot tougher on the Suns, who traded some depth in the deal for KD.

Phoenix is 9-7-1 against the spread as a road dog this season, but it is losing those games by an average margin of 4.0 points per game.

I question the Suns’ ability to defend Curry now that Mikal Bridges is in Brooklyn, and the Warriors know they need to keep winning at home to avoid the play-in.

I’ll lay the points with Golden State tonight.
