The Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder are both fighting for playoff position, but the Thunder are sitting outside the play-in tournament field in the West heading into Tuesday’s action.
Brooklyn is coming off an impressive win on the road over the Denver Nuggets, moving it to 14-7 against the spread as road underdog on the season.
Even though Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are gone, Mikal Bridges has emerged as a star for the Nets since the Durant trade.
Oklahoma City has been dominant as a home favorite this season, but one of these ATS trends has to give tonight.
Let’s dive into the odds and a pick:
Nets vs. Thunder odds, spread and total
Nets vs. Thunder prediction and pick
This should be a terrific game, but I think the Thunder come away with the win.
OKC is 11-5 against the spread as a home favorite this season, and the Thunder (10th in the NBA in net rating) have been underrated in the market all season long.
I can see the argument for the Nets here as well, but OKC’s defense has been much better than Denver and Minnesota, the two teams Brooklyn just beat on the road.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to play in this game, and the Thunder have won all three games he’s played in since he suffered an abdomen injury.
I’ll roll with the home team on Tuesday night.
