Grizzlies vs. Mavericks prediction and odds for Monday, March 13 (Fade Memphis on road)

Grizzlies vs. Mavericks prediction and odds for Monday, March 13 (Fade Memphis on road)

The Memphis Grizzlies are still without star Ja Morant due to his suspension, but they are road favorites against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.

Luka Doncic is out for Dallas with a thigh injury, and Kyrie Irving is listed as questionable with a foot injury. If both players sit, it’s going to be tough for Dallas to pull off the win at home.

However, the Grizzlies have struggled mightily on the road this season, going just 12-21 straight up. Brandon Clarke, Jake LaRavia, Steven Adams and Vince Williams Jr. are all out for Memphis in this game.

How should we bet on these two Western Conference playoff contenders?

Grizzlies vs. Mavericks prediction and pick

Dallas has been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the spread this season, but I think there is value in taking the Mavs to win outright.

Memphis is just 1-11 over its last 12 road games, with its lone road win coming against the league-worst Houston Rockets.

With Morant, Adams and Clarke out for this game, I don’t trust Memphis to suddenly turn around its road woes.

The Mavericks could have Irving, which would certainly boost their offense, and the team only lost by four on the road to Memphis without both of its star guards.

If Kyrie suits up, Dallas is live to win this game at home.
